Obverse description Armored bust of Prince Honoré II facing right, depicted in cuirass and wearing the cordon of the Order of the Holy Spirit draped across the chest. The effigy is rendered in the Baroque style typical of mid-17th century hammered coinage. A circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait within the coin's field, with the ruler's titles abbreviated in the customary manner of the period.
