| Popis rubu | The reverse depicts a scenic view of the Lincoln Bridge within Chickasaw National Recreation Area in Oklahoma, a limestone arch bridge constructed in 1909 and dedicated to commemorate the centennial of Abraham Lincoln's birth. The bridge spans across a tranquil body of water, framed by natural landscape elements characteristic of the recreation area. The inscriptions CHICKASAW and OKLAHOMA appear prominently, with the date 2011 and the national motto E PLURIBUS UNUM also present in the design. The initials DW and JL in the field denote designers Donna Weaver and Jim Licaretz respectively. This reverse is part of the America the Beautiful Quarters program. |

Chickasaw National Recreation Area occupies land in south-central Oklahoma that the Chickasaw and Choctaw nations sold to the federal government in 1902, a transaction that displaced tribal control over mineral springs the Chickasaw had long used medicinally. Congress initially designated the site Platt National Park in 1906 — named after Connecticut senator Orville Platt, who had little direct connection to the region — before it was absorbed into the National Recreation Area system in 1976.
This is the fourth release in the America the Beautiful quarter program's 2011 schedule, struck exclusively at San Francisco.
