| Reverse description | The reverse depicts a scenic view of the Lincoln Bridge within Chickasaw National Recreation Area in Oklahoma, a limestone arch bridge constructed in 1909 and dedicated to commemorate the centennial of Abraham Lincoln's birth. The bridge spans across a tranquil body of water, framed by natural landscape elements characteristic of the recreation area. The inscriptions CHICKASAW and OKLAHOMA appear prominently, with the date 2011 and the national motto E PLURIBUS UNUM also present in the design. The initials DW and JL in the field denote designers Donna Weaver and Jim Licaretz respectively. This reverse is part of the America the Beautiful Quarters program. |
