| Opis rewersu | Central device consists of the royal arms of France — a shield semé of fleurs-de-lis — surmounted by an elaborate royal crown with foliate decoration. The denomination is indicated by the Roman numeral II on each side of the shield (denoting the quarter écu). The mint mark G (for Poitiers) appears at the base of the shield. The surrounding legend HENRICVS·4·D·G·FRANC·ET·NAVA·REX·G, identifying Henry IV by the Grace of God as King of France and Navarre, is rendered in Latin capitals within a beaded border. |
