1/4 Chuckram - Moolam Thirunal Rama Varma VI

Moolam Thirunal Rama Varma VI ruled Travancore from 1885 to 1924, one of the longest reigns in the princely state's history and a period of significant administrative modernization under British paramountcy. The chuckram was Travancore's indigenous monetary unit, operating in parallel with British Indian coinage — four chuckrams to the paisa, with the system resisting full integration into imperial currency until well into the twentieth century.

KM#35 is a short-dated type, struck only across 1888–1889 before design or die revisions prompted a new catalog entry.
