Obverse description The Venezuelan national coat of arms occupies the central field, featuring a quartered shield with a running horse in the lower quarter, a sheaf of wheat and arms in the upper quarters, and a verdant landscape above the lower section. The shield is uncrested and presented in the classic republican style. A circular legend reading 'ESTADOS UNIDOS DE VENEZUELA' arcs around the upper periphery, bordered by a beaded rim. At the bottom, separated by dots, the weight ('GR.1,250'), date, and silver fineness ('LEI 835') are inscribed in the exergue area.
