正面描述	Left-facing draped bust of Maharaja Jivaji Rao Scindia, depicted wearing an elaborate plumed turban and a beaded necklace, rendered in moderate relief characteristic of Indian princely state coinage. The effigy occupies the central field, with the truncation visible at the lower portion of the design. A continuous Devanagari legend encircles the bust, reading the full formal title and name of the ruler and the state of Gwalior.

附加信息	Gwalior's copper fractionals from the late colonial period occupy an odd administrative space — the princely state retained the right to strike its own coinage under its treaty relationship with the British Crown, but by the 1920s the practical utility of these issues was increasingly undermined by the spread of Imperial coinage throughout central India. Jivaji Rao Scindia was only a child when this piece was struck, the regency effectively managing the state's affairs under British supervision. KM#176 is known with minor die variations in the positioning of the Devanagari inscriptions.
