| Beschrijving keerzijde | The allegorical figure of Winged Victory (the Angel of Independence) is depicted full-length in the center of the field, facing forward with large, outstretched wings spread to either side. Her right arm is raised aloft, holding a laurel wreath, while her left arm is lowered at her side. She stands before a panoramic backdrop of two volcanic peaks — Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl — rendered in the lower field. The denomination 1/20 ONZA appears to the left, PLATA PURA to the right, the Mexican Mint mark Mo below the figure's left hand, and the legend 1995 MEXICO Ley.999 along the lower exergue, all within a beaded border. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
The fractional Libertad series was introduced in 1991 to broaden access to Mexico's bullion program, which had previously offered only the one-ounce format since 1982. The 1/20 onza is the smallest denomination in that fractional lineup and was produced in comparatively low mintages relative to the full-ounce coin — a fact that has made certain dates within this 1991–1995 window genuinely difficult to locate in original mint packaging.
The Casa de Moneda de México, founded in 1535, is the oldest operating mint in the Americas.
