Obverse description Facing bust portrait of Ahmad Shah Qajar, depicted in military uniform with epaulettes and a distinctive plumed Qajar crown (kolah). The Iranian solar year date ۱۳۴۳ (1925) is divided across the field, with ۱۳ to the left and ۴۳ to the right of the effigy. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine detail on the crown's feathered plume and the shah's facial features. The coin field is otherwise plain, with a raised rim encircling the design.
