| Obverse description | Facing bust portrait of Ahmad Shah Qajar, depicted in military uniform with epaulettes and a distinctive plumed Qajar crown (kolah). The Iranian solar year date ۱۳۴۳ (1925) is divided across the field, with ۱۳ to the left and ۴۳ to the right of the effigy. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine detail on the crown's feathered plume and the shah's facial features. The coin field is otherwise plain, with a raised rim encircling the design. |

| Reverse description | Central Arabic religious inscription within a beaded inner circle, reading یا صاحب الزّمان علیه السّلام ('O Lord of the Age, peace be upon him'), an invocation to the Twelfth Imam of Shia Islam. The inscription is executed in elegant Nastaliq calligraphy. Surrounding the beaded circle is a wreath of leafy branches tied at the base, with a decorative floral ornament at the top. The mint name طهران (Tehran) appears within or below the inscription. The overall design is characteristic of late Qajar devotional coinage. |
