| Description du revers | The reverse presents a multi-line Persian nastaliq inscription filling the field, enclosed within a beaded border clearly visible along the coin's circumference. The legend, arranged in several registers, records the mint name as Dar al-Mu'minin Kashan, followed by a triple invocation 'Ya Muhammad, Ya Muhammad, Ya Muhammad,' and the AH regnal date 1206. The inscription is struck in bold, deeply cut nastaliq characters typical of the Qajar mint style of this period. The irregular flan edges, a hallmark of hand-hammered production, are evident around the periphery, and the beaded inner border frames the calligraphic composition with characteristic late Safavid-Qajar decorative convention. |
