| 正面描述 | Central field occupied by a large quadripartite scalloped shield of elaborate Gothic form, divided by a cross into four sections bearing horizontal barry stripes alternating with a plain cross motif, emblematic of the arms of the Livonian Order and the Fürstenberg family. The shield is rendered in relief with boldly incised partition lines and decorative lobed outlines at the corners and base. Above the shield, the abbreviated date numerals '58' appear within a scrolled cartouche or arch at the top of the field. The flan is of irregular square shape, characteristic of the emergency coinage (Notgeld) struck at Wenden during the final years of the Livonian Order. |

Wilhelm von Fürstenberg served as Master of the Livonian Order during one of its most desperate periods — the years immediately preceding the catastrophic Livonian War, when Ivan IV's forces drove deep into the Order's territories beginning in 1558. Coinage from this window is rare precisely because the Order's administrative and minting infrastructure collapsed so rapidly under military pressure.
Wenden, the mint city here, was the Order's traditional seat of power in Livonia. It fell to Russian forces in 1577, ending any further issues from that location.
