Obverse description Right-facing draped bust of Archbishop Sigismund von Schrattenbach in ecclesiastical vestments, wearing a pectoral cross, with elaborately curled periwig. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine detail characteristic of the Salzburg mint's engraving tradition. The curved Latin legend arcs around the upper periphery of the coin, reading SIGISMUNDUS D G A EPISC & PR SALISBURG, with the milled border visible at the rim.
