Reverse description The elaborately quartered arms of the Archbishopric of Salzburg displayed on a baroque cartouche, surmounted by a galero (ecclesiastical hat) with pendant tassels on either side, flanked by a processional cross and crozier. The date is divided to either side of the galero in the upper field. The circular Latin legend reads S A S LEG NATUS GERM PRIMAS around the periphery, partially inverted at the base, with a finely reeded border at the rim.
