| Beschrijving voorzijde | Right-facing draped bust of Empress Maria Theresia, her hair elaborately dressed in loose curls falling to the shoulder, wearing an ornate bodice with lace trim and a brooch at the décolletage. The effigy occupies the majority of the coin's field and is rendered in high relief with fine engraving detail. A continuous Latin legend encircles the portrait along the toothed border, reading M THERESIA D G R IMP GE HU BO REG, abbreviating her full imperial and royal titles. The coin's milled edge is visible as a fine dentilated border framing the design. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A large double-headed imperial eagle displayed in the centre of the field, each head facing outward and surmounted by a single imperial crown above, with a larger crown at the top of the coin bearing an orb finial. The eagle's breast bears an elaborate quartered heraldic shield incorporating the arms of Austria, Hungary, Bohemia, Burgundy, and Tyrol among others. The date appears in the field between the eagle's heads. The encircling Latin legend reads ARCHID AUST DUX BURG CO TYR, denoting the Empress's titles as Archduchess of Austria, Duchess of Burgundy, and Countess of Tyrol, framed by a toothed milled border. |
