Obverse description Half-length effigies of two rulers facing right, depicted in elaborate period armor with lace ruffs and decorative chains, rendered in high relief. The date is divided and placed in the field to either side of the principal figure. A circular Latin legend surrounds the busts, reading D G IOH: PHIL: IOH: WILH: ET FRID: WILH: FRAT:, identifying the three co-ruling brothers by grace of God. The composition reflects the early 17th-century German portrait convention, with finely engraved details on the armored torsos and facial features.
