The text records John George I's full titles and dignities as Imperial Administrator and General Vicar during the vacancy of the Holy Roman Empire following the death of Emperor Matthias. The lettering is deeply struck in hammered relief, filling the field to the milled border. The inscription begins with D.G. and concludes with the issuing year 1619 on the final line. |
