| Beschrijving voorzijde | Armored bust of Heinrich Julius facing right, wearing an elaborate ruffled collar and ornate cuirass, dividing the date across the field. The portrait is rendered in high relief in the style of late Renaissance German coinage. A circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy, reading the ruler's titles as Prince-Bishop of Halberstadt and Duke of Brunswick and Lüneburg. The legend is interrupted at the base by the lower drapery of the bust. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A large six-fold quartered coat of arms occupies the central field, incorporating the heraldic devices of Brunswick, Lüneburg, Westphalia, Everstein, Homburg, and Regenstein, with a small central escutcheon. Three elaborate crested helmets with flowing mantling rise above the shield. The entire composition is framed by a wreath of laurel or palm branches. The motto legend PRO PATRIA CONSUMOR ('I am consumed for the fatherland') runs around the outer border in Latin. |
