Obverse description Laureate bust of Emperor Ferdinand II facing right, wearing a straight collar, set within an inner circle. The imperial legend encircles the effigy, with the date 1634 rendered in small characters below the bust in the lower field. The portrait is rendered in the high-relief baroque style characteristic of the Graz mint's klippe issues.

Reverse description Crowned composite arms of the Habsburg territories, elaborately framed in an ornate baroque cartouche, contained within an inner circle and encircled by the chain of the Order of the Golden Fleece. The small escutcheon of Styria is prominently placed at the center top of the arms complex. The reverse legend appears in the outer field surrounding the inner circle.
