| Opis rewersu | Quartered electoral arms of Saxony displayed on a large central shield, incorporating the barry of Hungary, the Rautenkranz diagonal, the crossed swords of the Electoral marshalship, and additional heraldic quarterings. The shield is surmounted by an elaborate crested helm with mantling, and flanked by subsidiary escutcheons. The date 1556 is divided across the field to either side of the central shield. A beaded inner border separates the arms from the surrounding Latin legend denoting the elector's titles. |
