| Reverse description | A fully armored warrior, depicted in the Roman antique style, seated facing left upon a throne or rocky ground, holding a long lance or scepter upright in one hand and resting the other on a shield or weapon at his side. The figure is rendered with considerable detail in the breastplate and leg armor, conveying martial authority. Small decorative stars appear in the lower field beneath the figure. The circular border legend · MONETA · NOVA · ARGENTEA · in Latin script identifies this as a new silver coinage of the Trivulzio lordship. |
