Reverse description The reverse displays a weathered and partially legible Arabic inscription in the field, with the die struck off-center, resulting in partial legend loss at the margins. The deeply incuse areas and raised lettering are consistent with the hammered technique employed at the Shadiabad mint under Hoshang Shah. The flan surface shows significant granularity and patination typical of copper half tanka issues of the Malwa Sultanate. The overall fabric is irregular and planchet preparation appears rough, consistent with provincial copper coinage of this period.
