Obverse description Central circular cartouche enclosing a multi-line Arabic-script legend in bold raised relief, set against a flat field. Surrounding the inner circle, a broad marginal band carries a continuous Persian inscription in characteristic Bengal Sultanate calligraphic style. The lettering is deeply struck with angular, bold strokes typical of mid-sixteenth-century Bengali hammered coinage. The flan is irregular and slightly ragged at the periphery, consistent with hand-cut fabric of the period.
