| Obverse lettering | سلطان البرين وخاقان البحرين السلطان عبد الحميد خان عز نصره (Translation: Sultan of the 2 lands and 2 seas Sultan Abdulhamid Khan May he be victorious) |
| Reverse description | The reverse displays the mint name and AH date arranged in three lines within a plain inner circle, surrounded by a beaded border. The upper portion features a stylized foliate or crescent-like ornament above the mint name inscription. Below, the Arabic numerals render the Hijri date 1188, corresponding to 1774 AD. The overall design is compact and characteristic of Ottoman-Tunisian provincial gold issues of the late 18th century. A hole pierced at the top of the flan is visible, consistent with the obverse. |
