| 背面描述 | A balance scale in the centre of the field, its beam supporting a Phrygian cap — the emblem of liberty — resting upon the flail arm, which is itself crowned with an oak wreath symbolising civic virtue and strength. The denomination 1/2 S appears centrally between the scale pans. The legend LIBERTE EGALITE flanks the design, with the mint mark H and date 1793 completing the reverse inscription. The composition is compact and heraldically balanced, characteristic of Dupré's Republican coinage designs. |
