Obverse description Central field dominated by a bold, thick royal monogram of Perctarit, composed of intertwined letters forming the abbreviated legend PE Rx; the crossing element of the monogram is rendered by three dots arranged in an X formation. The design is enclosed within a plain inner circle, surrounded by a beaded or raised border. The style is characteristic of late Lombard hammered coinage, with a compact, slightly irregular flan.
