| Obverse lettering | 五 乾 年藏 寶十 隆 八 (Translation: Qian Long Bao Cang / Nian Wu Shi Ba Qianlong (Emperor) / Tibetan coin / Year 58) |
| Reverse description | Four large Tibetan characters arranged in a cruciform pattern reading top to bottom, right to left within the central field: གཙང་པའུ་ལུང་ཆན (Gtsang Pa'u Lung Chan, the Tibetan rendering of 'Qianlong's Tibetan Treasure'). Cloud motifs fill the four corners, mirroring the obverse design. A surrounding border legend in Tibetan script reads ལྔ་བཅུ་ང་བརྒྱད (Lnga bcu nga brgyad, meaning 'Fifty-Eight'), denoting the regnal year. The style is consistent with the hammered coinage produced at the Dode mint in Lhasa following the Sino-Tibetan monetary reform of 1792–1793. |
