Obverse description The field is divided into a three-by-three grid of rectangular panels by raised linear borders. The central panel bears a stylised lotus or floral rosette motif, rendered in low relief in the traditional Bhutanese hammered style. The four corner panels display interlaced foliate scrollwork, while the top and bottom central panels contain further floral or cloud-scroll ornaments. The entire composition is characteristic of Tibeto-Buddhist decorative iconography, with no inscriptions or legends present.

Reverse description The reverse field is similarly arranged in a three-by-three grid of rectangular panels divided by raised linear borders. The dominant central panel features a large Endless Knot (Skt. shrivatsa), one of the Eight Auspicious Symbols of Tibetan Buddhism, depicted as an elaborate interlaced lattice motif in raised relief. The flanking side panels contain flowing foliate or cloud-scroll designs, and the top and bottom central panels display stylised floral rosettes. No inscriptions or legends appear on this face, consistent with the aniconic hammered coinage tradition of Bhutan.
