Obverse description Crudely hammered field bearing a central Tibetan script inscription in Uchen characters, arranged within a rectangular framework of ruled lines forming a grid-like border. The syllable 'Sa' appears prominently at the upper right of the central device, serving as a die-variety marker. The overall design is characteristic of Bhutanese hammered coinage of the Deb period, with strongly irregular flan edges and uneven strike depth across the field.
