| Obverse description | Printed in violet on a pale ground, the obverse carries a finely engraved vignette of a moon orchid plant to the left, set within a guilloche border. The denomination fraction ½ appears in ornate panels at upper left and lower right, with a large guilloche medallion to the right bearing the same fraction numeral and the date 1948 below. Two manuscript signatures appear at centre-bottom beneath the titles SECRETARIS and PRESIDENT. |
