| Descrizione del dritto | The obverse displays the National Emblem of Oman at center within a raised inner circle: a khanjar dagger superimposed over two crossed swords, rendered in fine relief against a mirror-polished field. The Arabic legend البنك المركزي العماني (Central Bank of Oman) curves along the upper periphery, while the denomination نصف ريال (Half Rial) appears in large Arabic script along the lower arc. Two five-pointed stars flank the emblem at the three and nine o'clock positions, serving as decorative separators between the upper and lower inscriptions. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse presents an elaborate allegorical composition celebrating Omani industry, dominated by three interlocking cog wheels at center, symbolizing industrial progress. Within and around the gears are detailed vignettes depicting various sectors of industry: factory buildings with smokestacks appear at lower center, a textile worker at a loom is visible to the right, and industrial structures occupy the left gear. At the top, a waving banner bearing the National Emblem of Oman is prominently displayed. Wheat ears and palm fronds frame the lower left and right of the composition, and radiating lines in the field evoke energy and dynamism. The Arabic inscription سلطنة عمان عام الصناعة with the dual date ١٤١١هـ ١٩٩١م appears on the reverse as noted in the legend. |
