| Obverse description | The obverse displays the National Emblem of Oman at center within a raised inner circle: a khanjar dagger superimposed over two crossed swords, rendered in fine relief against a mirror-polished field. The Arabic legend البنك المركزي العماني (Central Bank of Oman) curves along the upper periphery, while the denomination نصف ريال (Half Rial) appears in large Arabic script along the lower arc. Two five-pointed stars flank the emblem at the three and nine o'clock positions, serving as decorative separators between the upper and lower inscriptions. |
