| Obverse description | Small-format note printed in dark olive-brown on plain paper, with the bank title EL BANCO COMERCIAL DE SANTA FÉ across the upper portion within a fine guilloche border. A vignette at left depicts a seated cherub, while a central oval vignette shows an allegorical scene; the denomination MEDIO REAL PLATA BOLIVIANA appears in a bold rectangular panel at centre. The date ROSARIO, MAYO 1° DE 1867 is printed to the right, with the promise text 'Pagará a la vista' and 'al portador de este billete' completing the face, above a manuscript signature. Repeated 'MEDIO' underprint text runs along all four margins. |
