The circumferential legend reads FERDIND • VII • DEI • GRATIA • in Latin capitals, interrupted by the date at the bottom of the coin. A finely milled border frames the entire design.

背面描述	The quartered royal arms of Spain, displaying castles and lions with a central escutcheon, surmounted by an ornate imperial crown occupying the upper field. The shield is flanked on either side by the Pillars of Hercules, each wound with a scroll inscribed PLUS. The circumferential legend • HISPAN • ET IND • R • reads around the upper portion, with the mintmark NG and assayer initial M completing the legend on the left. A milled border surrounds the entire reverse.
