| Beschrijving voorzijde | Crowned royal cypher of Felipe IV (Philip IV) occupying the central field, formed by an interlaced F and a numeral IV beneath a crown, typical of Spanish Colonial cob (macuquina) coinage. The design is struck in the characteristic irregular hammered style of the period, resulting in an uneven flan with partially visible details.
