Reverse description An allegorical figure of Justice is depicted seated, supported by a representation of the Constitution, rendered in a classical style. A circular legend surrounds the central device, with the denomination 'MEDIO REAL' inscribed at the base. The reverse carries the full national title of the republic above, with the commemorative date of the Liberal Revolution of 1871 incorporated into the legend. A beaded border frames the entire reverse design. The composition reflects the republican iconography standard to Guatemalan coinage of the period.
