| Obverse description | Central field dominated by a large countermark consisting of the Arabic numerals ٦٥ (65), applied in an incuse oval punch over the original coin design. Surrounding the countermark, the underlying Arabic legends of the original issue remain partially visible in the field, featuring inscriptions identifying the issuing authority and denomination. The countermark was applied officially to revalidate the coin for circulation in AH 1365 (1946). |
