Denomination expressed as both '50 CENTAVOS' and 'HALF PESO' within the design, with legal tender text running along the lower border.

Beschrijving keerzijde	The reverse is executed entirely in green, with the denomination '1/2' in bold numerals flanked by two large intricate guilloche rosettes at left and right, each bearing the fractional value. A central scroll cartouche carries the bold intaglio inscription 'HALF PESO', with '50 CENTAVOS' at top corners and 'PHILIPPINES' along the upper border.
