Three small floral or rosette ornaments are evenly spaced along the lower inner rim, providing decorative punctuation. The entire design is contained within a continuous beaded inner circle. |

| Reversbeschreibung | The reverse bears the Coat of Arms of New South Wales as its central device, depicting a quartered shield with a lion and a star in the first quarter, a sailing ship in the second, a sheaf of wheat in the third, and an anchor in the fourth, surmounted by a radiant sun with a human face. The shield is supported on the left by an emu and on the right by a kangaroo, both rendered in fine relief. A ribbon scroll beneath the shield carries the motto ADVANCE AUSTRALIA. The peripheral legend THE SULTAN'S STEAM COFFEE WORKS curves around the upper rim, with ESTABLISHED appearing on a secondary arc within the border. The establishment date 1855 and the place name SYDNEY appear in the lower field, flanked by small ornamental stops, all within a beaded border. |
