| Opis awersu | Facing crowned bust of King Henry VI, rendered in the stylised medieval manner typical of hammered English coinage, centred within a beaded inner circle. The king is depicted with a full crown and annulets positioned on either side of the neck, the diagnostic feature of this Annulet issue. The royal effigy fills the central field with broad, flat relief characteristic of early Lancastrian halfpennies. A Latin legend in uncial lettering runs continuously around the periphery outside the inner circle. |

| Opis rewersu | A long cross pattée extending to the coin's edge divides the reverse field into four quarters, each containing a trefoil ornament. Annulets are present in two of the quarters, serving as the primary mint and issue identifier for this Calais Annulet coinage. The design follows the standard reverse type established for Lancastrian halfpennies, with the cross providing a functional division of the flan. A Latin legend in uncial lettering encircles the design, identifying the town of Calais as the place of issue. |
