| Popis rubu | A long voided cross divides the reverse field into four quadrants, each containing three pellets arranged in a triangular formation, a standard design feature of medieval English and Irish halfpennies of this era. The cross extends to the coin's edge, following the conventional layout of Plantagenet coinage struck for Ireland. The surrounding Latin legend reads CIVI TAS* DVBL INIE, identifying Dublin as the city of issue. The die work is typical of the Dublin Mint's hammered production, with the pellet groups and cross rendered in bold but irregular relief. The irregular flan causes portions of the legend to be clipped at the periphery. |
