| Beschrijving voorzijde | Schematically rendered royal bust in left profile occupying the central field, depicted with a simple crown or diadem indicated by a horizontal line above the head, the facial features rendered in a highly stylised manner with a pellet eye. The effigy is surrounded by a prominent border of large pellets arranged continuously around the periphery of the irregularly shaped flan, characteristic of Norwegian hammered coinage of the mid-twelfth century. The overall design is executed in a crude but distinctive style typical of Nidaros mint issues of this period. No legend is present. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | As a bracteate-style half penning, the reverse shows the incuse mirror impression of the obverse type, presenting the schematic royal bust in right profile as a negative relief. The pellet border is similarly visible in incuse form around the periphery of the flan. The surface is plain and unadorned beyond the impressed design, consistent with the single-die hammered bracteate technique employed at the Nidaros mint during the reign of King Inge I Haraldsson. |
