| Description du revers | The Portuguese royal arms displayed at centre within a rectangular shield surmounted by a mural crown of Baroque form, topped by a small cross. The shield features the traditional quinas arrangement — five escutcheons charged with bezants disposed in cross — surrounded by the bordure of castles. The central device is flanked by elaborate symmetrical acanthus and floral scroll ornaments extending to the lower field, where a floral bouquet tied with a ribbon completes the decorative composition. No legend appears on the reverse; the design fills the field to the toothed rim. |
