Reverse description The reverse displays a continuation of the Persian-Nastaliq legend in the field, with bold cursive strokes filling the irregular flan. Typical of hammered Maratha-issued copper coinage of this period, the design consists of stylized script elements without a clearly defined border or decorative motif. The surface shows the characteristic uneven relief of hand-struck copper paise produced at the Jhansi mint.
