Reverse description Central device depicts a stylized French oil lamp (Hanukkah lamp) of the type historically used by Jewish communities in France, rendered in relief against a plain field. The lamp, shown in profile, features a triangular body with decorative detailing including a row of oil reservoirs and an ornamental chain or filigree band along its base, with a spout projecting to the right from which the flame would issue. An inscription in Hebrew appears along the upper periphery of the dodecagonal field, identifying the Hanukkah theme of the series.
