| Beschrijving keerzijde | The field is entirely occupied by a multi-line Persian-script legend executed in a bold, intertwined naskh calligraphic style characteristic of Safavid hammered gold coinage. The inscription names the issuing ruler Shah Tahmasb and identifies the mint as Soltaniyeh, arranged across several horizontal registers that fill the flan to its irregular edges. Diacritical dots are visible on several letterforms, attesting to careful die-cutting despite the hammered technique.
