| Beschrijving keerzijde | The denomination 1/2 MARK is presented in a decorative Art Nouveau cartouche formed by two sinuous, intertwining foliate stems terminating in stylised poppy or tulip blossoms at the upper left and right. The fraction 1/2 appears prominently above the word MARK in the centre of the cartouche, while the Munich Mint mark D is struck below in the lower lobe of the ornamental frame. A beaded border encircles the entire design. |
