| Obverse description | Plain paper ground bearing the issuer's name in Gothic blackletter script at top, with the series designation 'Reihe H' at upper left and a red serial number at upper right. The denomination 'Eine halbe Mark' is set in large Gothic display type at centre, below the voucher legend 'Gutschein über'. The place and date of issue, Nürnberg den 1. November 1918, appear beneath the denomination, followed by two manuscript signatures and a circular red intaglio stamp of the Bayerische Staatsbank bearing the Bavarian lozenge arms. A redemption notice at the foot states the voucher would be called in no later than 1 April 1919. |
