背面描述	The denomination MACUTA above the fraction 1/2 is prominently displayed in bold raised lettering at the centre of the field, flanked by six decorative floral rosettes arranged symmetrically around the value. The entire central device is enclosed within a beaded circle, outside of which the legend AFRICA PORTUGUEZA with the date 1860 runs around the upper periphery, while PORTUGUEZA continues around the lower portion, all within a milled outer border.
