背面描述 The reverse displays a centrally placed royal crown of Denmark rendered in fine relief, flanked on either side by decorative rosette or snowflake ornaments in the field. The denomination '1/2 KRONE' arcs along the upper periphery, while 'DANMARK' curves along the lower periphery, both in bold raised Latin lettering. The overall design is clean and heraldic in character, with the crown as the dominant central motif.

附加信息

Denmark adopted aluminium bronze for this denomination in 1924 partly in response to lingering metal economy pressures following the First World War, replacing the earlier cupro-nickel issues. The alloy was still relatively novel for Scandinavian coinage at the time, and Denmark was among the earlier adopters in the region.

Production ran through 1940 — the year Germany occupied Denmark in April. Coins dated 1940 would have been struck either just before or during the early weeks of occupation, after which the Royal Danish Mint operated under increasingly constrained circumstances for the remainder of the war.
